A Tutoring Plan Built Around You!

Wordsmith Tutoring Plans are personalized, multi-session tutoring plans for writers who want to develop skills, complete a project, or work toward a larger goal over time.

The process begins with a free consultation and Free Personalized Writing Trial. After both sessions, I use what I’ve learned about the writer’s goals, interests, strengths, challenges, schedule, and learning style to create one complete Wordsmith Tutoring Plan built specifically for them.

Every Writing Adventure Begins at the Forge

No two writers begin in the same place or want to travel in the same direction. Wordsmith begins with a conversation, identifies the tools each adventurer already carries, and creates several personalized Adventure Plans for the student and family to choose from.

Wordsmith Tutoring Plans are personalized, multi-session tutoring plans for writers who want to develop skills, complete a project, or work toward a larger goal over time.

The process begins with a free consultation and Free Writing Trial. After both sessions, I use what I’ve learned about the writer’s goals, interests, strengths, challenges, schedule, and learning style to create one complete Wordsmith Tutoring Plan built specifically for them.

The Free Writing Trial is a one-on-one trial lesson that gives the writer a real experience of the Wordsmith approach.

Every great adventure starts with a first quest. During this session, we'll get to know each other, talk about goals and interests, complete a few writing activities together, and explore the skills you already bring to the table. You'll experience how Wordsmith lessons are taught while I learn how you think, write, and learn best!

After the free trial, the writer receives a personalized digital Wordsmith Journal with a strengths-first skill snapshot, areas to keep developing, an introduction to the available Writing Tracks, and custom Read, Watch, Play recommendations. The journal belongs to the writer whether or not the family continues with tutoring.

At Wordsmith, writers are considered adventurers because each one is working toward a different destination in their own story. My role as the Wordsmith is to understand where they want to go and help them build the skills they need to get there. The goal is not simply to fix one assignment. It is to help build writing skills that carry into school, creative projects, college, and careers.

STEP 03

Custom Tutoring Plan

After the consultation, I create a personalized tutoring plan based on everything learned during the consultation and trial. The plan outlines the recommended sessions, Writing Tracks, activities, skills, and projects that will guide the writer’s journey.

Different Destinations Require Different Routes

Every tutoring plan combines practical skill-building with lessons and projects shaped around the writer’s goals.
